Terms of service
The terms that apply when you use Spainlander content, the readiness check, relocation roadmaps, and advisory services.
Last updated: 2 June 2026
Who we are
These terms apply to the website at spainlander.com and to Spainlander relocation planning services. Who operates it, and who takes the payment, is in the section below.
Who we are
Spainlander is a service of Ambaex Sourcing S.L., NIF B26580886, registered at Calle Carlos Cervera 14, 46006 Valencia, Spain. You can reach us at [email protected].
Payments are taken by Ambaex Sourcing S.L. and appear on your card statement as AMBAEX* SPAINLANDER. If you see that line and do not recognise it, it is us — write to us before you contact your bank and we will send you the receipt.
Services
Spainlander provides pathway guidance for families planning a move to Valencia or Spain. Services may include readiness check results, written relocation roadmaps, school and neighborhood planning, preparation calls, and advisory support.
- The Shortlist: EUR 989, paid in full, for a verified school shortlist and dated admissions calendar.
- The Application: EUR 2,450, charged as a deposit of EUR 1,225 at signature with the balance invoiced when your applications are filed, for school application preparation, filing and follow-up.
- The Landing: EUR 6,900, quoted against a written scope and invoiced 40 / 40 / 20, for the arrival: housing coordination, padrón, residence documents, healthcare steps and appointments attended in person.
Service pages or checkout may describe the exact deliverables, timing, and intake steps for each tier. If there is a conflict, the specific written description shown for the service you bought controls that purchase.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Advertised prices are final and inclusive of any applicable taxes - the amount shown on the service page is the amount charged. You agree to provide accurate billing and contact information so Spainlander can deliver the service and issue receipts.
Changing your mind, and refunds
You have fourteen days to withdraw from a contract bought at a distance, counted from the day you buy. You do not need a reason. Tell us at [email protected]; the official model withdrawal form is available on request.
At checkout you ask us to begin work inside those fourteen days, and you acknowledge that your right to withdraw ends once the service has been fully performed. If you withdraw after we have started and before it is finished, you pay for the work done up to that point. So that “the work done up to that point” is never an argument, here is exactly what we retain:
- The Shortlist. Before the intake call: everything back. After the call and before the document is delivered: we retain EUR 300. Once delivered, the service has been fully performed.
- The Application. Before the intake call: everything back. After the call and before the Shortlist is delivered: we retain EUR 300. After the Shortlist and before filing: we retain EUR 989 and return EUR 236 of your deposit. Once your applications have been filed, the service has been fully performed.
- The Landing. Before your document list is issued: everything back. After it: we retain EUR 300. Each appointment already attended is charged at EUR 450, and each application already filed is charged as above.
Refunds are made within fourteen days, to the card you paid with. If we did not tell you about this right, or you did not ask us to begin early, you pay nothing and the period is extended, as the law provides.
These rights sit alongside our guarantees, not instead of them. The guarantees at spainlander.com/guarantee form part of your contract, and each one names what we refund and when. If Spainlander cancels a paid service, we offer a replacement date or refund the affected service.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for giving accurate information, reviewing deliverables promptly, making final decisions for your family, and obtaining professional legal, tax, medical, financial, or immigration advice when needed. Spainlander advice depends on the facts you provide.
Legal and immigration advice boundary
Spainlander provides relocation pathway guidance, planning support, and practical preparation. Spainlander is not a law firm, does not provide legal or immigration advice, and does not represent you before Spanish authorities, schools, landlords, tax offices, or immigration bodies. Outcomes depend on authorities, schools, landlords, and third-party providers. Spainlander does not guarantee visa approval, school admission, rental acceptance, or any immigration outcome.
Website content
Website content is provided for general information and planning context. Rules, costs, school availability, appointment systems, and government processes can change. You should verify time-sensitive requirements with the relevant authority or qualified professional before relying on them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spainlander is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, delay, third-party decisions, authority outcomes, or decisions you make based on incomplete or inaccurate information you provided. Spainlander's total liability for a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
Spainlander content, roadmaps, templates, and planning materials are owned by Spainlander or its licensors. You may use paid materials for your own family relocation planning. You may not resell, publish, copy, or share them as a competing service without written permission.
Changes to services or terms
Spainlander may update services, prices, website content, and these terms. The terms in effect when you purchase a paid service apply to that purchase unless a change is required by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you rights in another place. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Spain unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
