Why this school matters even though it is tiny
It is the only school in these districts with enrolment open today, with the school year already under way. Being private and outside the state-funded system, it does not sit inside the regional admission process at all: you enrol directly and places go in order. Registration for 2026-27 opened on 1 January 2026 and is still open in September.
For a family arriving in October with a sixteen or seventeen-year-old, every concertado door in this survey closed in June. This one did not.
What it is, exactly
Bachillerato only — years 1 and 2, ages 16 to 18. Nothing else. Its own site marks "Arts (we do not teach it)" and "General (we do not teach it)"; the real streams are Sciences and Technology and Humanities and Social Sciences. Four groups, 133 places on the register.
Officially recognised state-syllabus teaching, run by María Quintana S.L. and attached to IES Ramón Llull, which issues its official academic certificates. Twelve teachers, small-group attention, weekly subject seminars, catch-up for failed subjects. Everything is pointed at the EBAU, the university entrance exam.
No IB, no Cambridge, no bilingual or plurilingual programme. Pupils take Spanish, Valencian as a free-configuration subject and a foreign language, with French as the second. It declares no subject taught in English.
What it costs, and the part it will not say
Registration: €550. Verbatim: "PAY THE COURSE REGISTRATION (€550). Large or single-parent families get a 50% discount on registration." Not refundable except in force majeure, discounts not cumulative. There are other discounts — a sibling of a former pupil, two or more siblings enrolled — with no amount.
⚠️ The monthly tuition is not published, and the school's own document proves there is some. The same PDF calls the €550 "the first instalment of the year", and the footnote reads "the amount of the first instalment of the year (Registration) is not refundable." It confirms there are further instalments and does not say what they cost. We checked eight pages and every enrolment, direct-debit and registration PDF on the site.
Also published: the regional fee for the Bachillerato certificate itself — €45.35 standard, €22.68 for a large family — which is a public charge, not the school's. Textbooks are bought through the school at, they say, ordinary bookshop prices, spread over October, November and December, with no figure.
There is no canteen, no transport, no uniform and no morning care. PE happens at a municipal ground 400 m away. VAT is not mentioned anywhere, including on the €550.
Arriving from a foreign school system
The published route is explicit, and it is the one thing here a relocating family must get right:
"For pupils coming from foreign education systems: Conditional Enrolment Slip, issued when you apply for the homologation of foreign studies."
That slip lets a pupil enrol while the homologation is still being processed. Moving from another Spanish school instead means asking for a discharge naming centre 46013645.
Enrolment is done in person: a pack from the office, a signed form, DNI or passport for the pupil and both parents, the €550, a photo, a bank-stamped direct debit, the pupil number, the health card and a transcript. No entrance exam or interview is published, but there are two informal filters: an appointment to be seen by the head, and an express reservation of the right of admission where relevant information about the pupil has been withheld.
Office hours 09:30–14:00 and 16:30–18:00, no Friday afternoons, July mornings only, closed in August. There is no open day — "you no longer need an appointment to visit us."
Mid-year entry: not published. They do take repeaters and pupils carrying failed subjects, with a weekly catch-up class and an intensive June course for year 2. Language support: not published.
