As everywhere in this area, the uniform is not published, and neither are exam fees. Ask for both before you budget: at a school in the city, add the bus question too, because a city campus changes how a family gets there.
The reason to choose it over the belt schools
Every other British school around Valencia is out in the western or northern belt, which means a school run of twenty to thirty minutes each way, twice a day, and a family that needs two cars.
This one is in the city. For a family that wants to live in Russafa or El Cabanyal rather than in a house with a plot in Bétera, that is the whole decision — and it is the only version of it where a teenager eventually gets themselves to school on the metro.
It runs from two campuses, which is worth asking about directly: which stages sit where, and whether a child changes site as they move up.
Living in the city, briefly
Valencia is also the easiest municipality in this area to register in: you can walk in without an appointment, and any of the offices that register will do — you are not tied to your district. But a North American family needs its documents apostilled and sworn-translated before it flies, and an Irish family only needs the translation.
Who it suits
A family that came for the city, not for the space, and wants the British curriculum without organising its week around a commute.
Who it does not
A family that wants a plot, a pool and a five-minute school run, or one that wants its children inside the Spanish system.
