First: there are two, and this is not the other one
A family that hears "Jesús-María" in Valencia does not know which school is being named. There are exactly two in the city, both concertados, both run by the same congregation, and they are 2.5 km apart:
- This one — Jesús María, centre code 46010221, Gran Via Ferran el Catòlic 37, 46008, district Extramurs. Phone 963 85 09 00. Infantil, Primaria, ESO, Bachillerato and special education.
- Jesús-María Fuensanta, centre code 46011922, plaça de Múrcia 10, 46014, district Jesús. No Bachillerato; it has a basic vocational stage instead.
Only this one goes to eighteen. Get the address and the code right on the application, because the online form takes the code.
The link the register gives you is dead
jesusmariav.net does not answer. We checked it on 3 September 2026: a full browser request times out on both ports, a direct TCP probe finds 80 and 443 closed or filtered, and a fetch from an independent network returns ECONNREFUSED. The mailbox [email protected] still works; the website does not.
The live source is the congregation's own portal, colegiosjesusmaria.com/colegio/fernando-el-catolico/, which prints "Código de centro: 46010221" on the page. That is the owner named in the register, not a directory, and everything here comes from it.
Language: the number that matters is 10%
In Primaria the school publishes the detail, verbatim:
"We teach in Valencian, besides Valencian itself, Coneixement del medi, PE in years 1, 2 and 3 and Projects in years 4, 5 and 6. In English, besides its own lessons, we teach Art."
One discrepancy we are not going to resolve for them: the same paragraph appears twice on the page, and where the "stages" tab says Coneixement del medi, the "languages" tab says Ciencias Sociales. Same sentence, different subject. Ask them which.
The register's percentages, which the school itself does not publish:

Say the Infantil number out loud: English is one hour in ten. A three-year-old walks into a room that runs 91% of the time in Spanish and Valencian. This is a Spanish school with reinforced English — there are two native English conversation assistants across all stages, small groups, all year — and it is not a bilingual school. For some families that is exactly the point. For others it is the reason to look elsewhere.
The Bachillerato is not free
The school publishes that Bachillerato runs "three lines with a concierto singular in each year." A concierto singular is the arrangement that lets a school charge an authorised fee at that stage. The amount is not published, along with everything else: no registration, no tuition, no canteen price, no voluntary contribution, no uniform, no Dual programme cost. We swept the € symbol across the whole of the school's live pages and the admissions page: zero hits.
Confirmed and unpriced: own kitchen and canteen (Serunion, sittings 13:15–15:30, monthly or by ticket, three days a week for ESO), mid-morning food made on site, morning care, a library in the old chapel with 8,500 catalogued books, a nurse 09:00–17:00 who handles medical menus and intolerances. Uniform is compulsory from three years old to year 3 of ESO and comes from Tienda Lazzos, C/ Cuenca 34. No school transport is mentioned anywhere.
The call to make, and when
Money is handled by Administración, not Secretaría — and the two keep different hours.
- Administración, October to May: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 09:00–12:30; Tuesday and Thursday 15:30–17:30.
- Secretaría, October to May: Monday and Wednesday 09:00–12:30 and 15:30–17:30, Friday mornings. No family appointments on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
