The mistake that costs a morning

Burjassot does not do the padrón at the town hall.

It is done at the SAC, inside the Casa de Cultura, on C/ Mariana Pineda. The address in the footer of the municipality's own website is Plaza Emilio Castelar, which is the town hall and is the wrong building for this.

Cita previa is obligatory, through citaprevia.burjassot.org. There is no walking in.

The town publishes two different document lists depending on whether you are registering at a property you hold or at someone else's address — which means the second route exists officially, and a family arriving before it rents is not stuck.

Why families end up here

Burjassot is the closest of the western-belt towns to Valencia: about 15 minutes by car, 20 by metro, with three lines running through it. It is denser and more urban than L'Eliana or Bétera — flats rather than houses with plots — and it is what a family chooses when it wants the school without giving up the city.

What it costs to live here

Flats commonly sit between €700 and €1,200 a month, with houses above that. What a landlord asks a foreign family without a Spanish payslip is its own negotiation, usually more months up front.
