How much of the week is taught in which language

There is no official figure for this school, and that is worth knowing. The Generalitat publishes a language split, stage by stage, for público and concertado schools, because they are inside the plurilingual programme. Private schools are outside it, so nobody is obliged to tell you how much of your child’s week will be in Valencian, in Spanish or in English — and the schools an English-speaking family looks at first are almost all private. ASV publishes its fees: €7,427 to €9,862 a year, depending on the stage, with lunch included. Those are the 2026-27 figures.

As at every school we checked in this area, the uniform price is not published, and neither are exam fees.

Why a North American family looks here first

This is the transcript question, and it is the one that gets asked too late.

A child moving into a Spanish or British system mid-school does not simply continue: the credits, the grading and the shape of the final two years are different, and a family planning to go home — or to apply to a US university — can find the return harder than the arrival was. ASV is the school that keeps that path intact, and it is the reason families choose it over a British school with a stronger local reputation.

The IB Diploma in the last two years sits on top of that rather than replacing it.

Who it suits

A family whose children may go back, or who are aiming at a North American university, and who want no break in the language of instruction.

Who it does not

A family that intends to stay in Spain long-term and wants its children genuinely fluent and inside the Spanish system. For that child, an English-medium American school is the slower road, and a Spanish private or concertado school is the faster one.
