The number that decides it, and the school does not publish it
On the Generalitat's register this is the most Valencian school in our whole survey of the city:
| Stage | Valencian | Spanish | English |
|---|---|---|---|
| Infantil | 64% | 26% | 11% |
| Primaria | 47% | 37% | 18% |
| ESO | 40% | 45% | 31% |
Read the first and last rows together, because they describe two different schools. A three-year-old walks into a room running two-thirds in Valencian with English at one hour in ten. By ESO the same child is in the third-highest English share of any concertado in the city. The school changes character between five and twelve.
For a family that wants its children genuinely Valencian-speaking, that Infantil row is the reason to choose it. For a family arriving with no Spanish and no Valencian expecting a soft landing, it is the reason not to. Either way it is not on the school's website — the only clue there is that they name the subject Coneixement del Medi in Valencian, and that English appears as a paid after-school club rather than as a programme.
No morning care, and that is disqualifying for some families
We swept the site for every form of "morning club", "drop-off" and "07:", "08:00" across the home page, canteen, clubs, admissions, office and guidance pages. Nothing. There is no morning care and no page saying otherwise.
If both parents start work at eight, this school does not work, and better to know it now than in September.
What it costs
It is the only school of the six in the Cabanyal and Grao that publishes a canteen price:
"The price of this service is €7.25 a day by direct debit, and €7.75 if you buy a single ticket at reception."
Own kitchen, one supervisor per year group, a nap for the three-year-olds, September to June. It does not say whether VAT is included.
After-school, full tariff published — but ⚠️ the sheet is 2025-26: English €45 a month for two days plus €50 materials · drama €35 (two days) or €24 (one) · IT €23 · skating €23 · funky €35 / €24 · guitar €23 · "Tardes del Hogar" wraparound 17:00–18:00 "varies between €24, €34, €41 and €49 depending on the number of days" · chess €22 plus workbooks · futsal €35 registration, then €30 a month for two days in years 1–2 of Primaria and €40 a month for two days plus a match from year 3 to ESO, with a €95 kit from year 3. Commitment runs in four-month blocks and "cancellations can only be made in January."
Not published: registration, tuition, the voluntary contribution, foundation fee and association fee, complementary activities, uniform, books, insurance and transport.
Useful addresses the school does publish: [email protected] for invoices and payments, [email protected] for books, and a named contact for the canteen who must be told before 10:00 the same day.
The school itself
Founded in 1965 in the Canyamelar, in parish buildings; it began as a single-sex school and is now mixed. It publishes 590 pupils and 65 staff, two forms of entry in each stage, and a special education provision. It belongs to the diocesan schools of the Fundación San Vicente Mártir.
It ends at sixteen. Of the six concertados in the Cabanyal, Grao and Malvarrosa, only Pureza de María-Grao reaches Bachillerato.
Admission: no dates and no open day published. The only route offered is "ask for an interview and an individual visit" at [email protected]. Vacancies are not published. The admissions text does invite enquiries "at any educational level" for next year, but says nothing about starting mid-year or about a child who speaks neither language.
